My name is Andy Drudy. I recently returned to the UK from an eight month stay in Melbourne, Australia.
I am now based primarily Seaford on the south coast of England (a short commute to London).
I have been a professional guitar player all my life, encompassing playing, writing and production work. I attended the Musicians Institute
in Los Angeles in 1982, tutors included Joe Diorio, Ron Eschete, with flying visits from Robben Ford, Larry Carlton, and Eddie Van Halen!
When on one occasion Legendary uber session guitarist Tommy Tedesco (and founder member of the school) found me wondering around the streets of West
Hollywood one afternoon, he stopped his big black Camero and took me to his session that day which was a full orchestral session for Dynasty
(a huge US soap opera TV series at the time) at one of Hollywoods biggest recording studios.
As well as performing, touring and session work, I also write music for various multi-media
applications such as TV, Radio, and DVD. I also have a degree in computer Science and love reading stuff about space.
I have been a contributor to "Total Guitar" magazine and have had several publications released in collaboration with
my good friend Tony Skinner of the RGT.
My current project is The Andy Drudy Disorder which has been signed to Splash Point Records and is currently treading the boards in and around
London and festivals all over. The first release will be in July 2012 with a five track EP called "The Blues Civilisation".
Please come and say hello!
I travel. I have cycled across the USA twice, once from NY to LA and then from NY to SF.
I have also cycled across Australia from Perth to Sydney in late 2005. I like cycling. Cycling is great.
Many thanks for visiting my site. I hope you find something of interest to you. Please visit my
